In 1940's Henry Kuttner wrote "Mimsy Were The Borogoves " based on the story of Alice in the Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
The Rabbit known as Mimzy is able to time travel. In the movie "Donnie Darko" we have the time travel rabbit known as "FRANK" as well as a book called "The Philosophy of Time Travel" by Roberta Sparrow. The motif, as a rabbit, as a time traveller - is not new. I wonder why it is used again and again. Perhaps also crystals are used in Mimzy. I use a double terminated quartz crystal with my HDR. |
Henry Kuttner is a pen name, actually "Mimzy were the Borogoves" was written by Lewis Paget and his wife. The movie shows you the future and the city does look like a future city. I would call is "The Lost Mimzy" as that title is haunting. Lewis Paget wrote a series of short stories for astounding science fiction back in the 40's. Many short stories became movies including the "The Twonky" 1953 about a crazed tyrannical TV set from the future.
It is an electronic toy from the future that was sent via a time machine to educate children about the world and the mistakes we will make. In the form of a bunny rabbit this mimzy plush toy uses nanotechnolgy way beyond what we have now.
Perhaps in that distant age of the future we will use something as harmless as a stuffed toy animal to send a message to the past. A lot less threatening than a 40 year old man such as John Titor.
Still in our day and age we have methods to access information about the future using Remote Viewing and Astral Time Travel. It is an interesting time. Truly we are special in this age to have these abilities. I use the HDR for Astral Time Travel.
In addition to using a double terminated quartz crystal with my hyper dimensional resonator I have also added a barium oxide bar magnet to the HDR.
