As many of you already know the cost of fossil fuel energy has gone up a lot, and it will continue to go up as the demand is far greater than the supply available to us. It is true we are using hydraulic fracturing to get more gas. Many people think that the high cost of propane only affects farmers who use it for home heating, but these farmers also use propane to dry our corn crop. OK, so as gas prices increase... that as a side effect makes it so can we see an increase in grain costs and in doing so, this makes the cost of eggs and milk go up. This increase in energy prices is now affecting food prices. Both food and fuel Have gone up dramatically; this process drives inflation and reduces the amount of green you can spend on nonessential items so you have less disposable income. |
Because propane also known as LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is derived from petroleum, its price is closely tied to the cost of each barrel of oil. Carbon taxes will soon increase the cost of fossil fuels we use. Please add that the decline in the value of the dollar as well as increase in demand for petroleum products has made life more expensive. However, it is good to have in your tank extra gas. After all, there could soon be a future emergency. |
Propane is driving up the cost of food. |
If farmers cannot get enough propane, then they cannot dry the corn. Sadly, we corn becomes moldy and spoils. OK, so no grain equals no eggs or milk as animals are fed a grain diet consisting mainly of corn. In the future propane will not be used in the processing of food. We will have better and more efficient methods of drying corn, but for now we are all affected by the high cost of pro PAIN. Supply disruptions could affect the distribution of grain. Using astral time travel I have seen food shortages in the future.
